The NissanConnect® software in the vehicle is updated periodically. This is referred to as an Over-the-Air Update.
A message will appear on the infotainment menu screen asking if you want to update the software. You can choose Yes, No, or Later.
Before choosing yes, please turn the engine on, park in a ventilated area, and turn on the parking brake. Do not drive the vehicle while the software update is taking place.
When you see a message on the infotainment screen saying that the software update was completed successfully, you can drive the vehicle.
If you turn off the engine while the update is in progress, the update will attempt to resume downloading and installation the next time the car engine is turned on again and the parking brake is turned on.
