The Vehicle Finder feature is able to locate your vehicle only within a 1-mile radius of your current location. You must be in an area with good connectivity. Your GPS must be enabled. The device communicates through a cellular network. Connection and signal strength may vary and be limited by location.
To find your vehicle using the Rogue PHEV NissanConnect® Services app, follow the steps below.
- Select the locate icon at the bottom of the home screen.
- Enter your security PIN when prompted. The Vehicle Finder page quickly displays the last known location of the vehicle.
- Wait about one minute for the status to refresh. The vehicle’s location is then displayed on the map.
- You can click the refresh icon at any time to see further updates to the status.
In Rogue PHEV vehicles, the GPS location of the vehicle is kept up-to-date only if you have turned on both "Vehicle Data Transmission Setting" and "Share Vehicle Information." Follow the steps below.
- Start the engine.
- On the infotainment menu screen, press the "Info." button.
- On the Info menu screen, press the "NissanConnect EV & Services" button.
- Press the "NissanConnect Services Settings" button.
- Press "Vehicle Data Sharing."
- From the Vehicle Data Sharing screen, see the "Share Vehicle
Information" option and turn it ON. Some informational screens may
appear.
Note that if you decline this option, then the vehicle will display the last captured location prior to turning off "Share Vehicle Information.
- Press the back button a few times to return to the Home menu.
- Press the "Settings" button.
- Go to the second page of Settings options.
- Press the "NissanConnect EV & Services" button.
- From the NissanConnect Services menu screen, see the "Vehicle Data
Transmission Setting" option and turn it ON. Some informational
screens may appear.
This item toggles between allowing or disallowing your vehicle to transmit data to Nissan.
